Connections from our 2015-2025 graduates
Warwick families

Anita, Samita, and Kerry
Anita Chagar (BA English Literature, 2015), Samita Sall (BA History, 2018) and Kerry Flora (BA French with Spanish, 2022) are all cousins and Warwick alumnae. We caught up with them to talk to them about their time on campus, their favourite memories from their time here and what they’re doing now.
Warwick love stories

Hassan and Hamna
Hassan (BSc Biomedical Sciences, 2018; MSc Environmental Bioscience in a Changing Climate, 2020) and Hamna (BA History and Sociology, 2020) met in the Student Union building back in 2018 and they soon became best friends. Both far from home in Pakistan, they found friendship, love, and a second home in the heart of Warwick campus.
Journeys since Warwick

Manish captained Team England at the Men’s Netball Nations Series which took place in Singapore in December 2024. The team’s hard work throughout the year paid off as wins against the likes of New Zealand and Hong Kong secured them the bronze medal. His netball journey began at The University of Warwick’s Mixed Netball Club, where he was an active member for 3 years. He joined the exec committee as Development Captain before representing Warwick at England Men’s and Mixed Netball ‘Nationals’ tournament in 2021.
Before graduating, he attained a place on the England Men’s Netball Performance Pathway and has continued to flourish. As he continues to represent England and shape the future of men’s netball, Manish remains a proud ambassador of both his university and the sport. His story is a reminder of how university experiences can ignite lasting passions and lead to extraordinary accomplishments.
Memories of Warwick

Minali Sanghani
BSc Management, 2021; MSc Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation, 2023
Warwick has been a special and pivotal place for me! Not only have I met friends who have become family, but I have also been consistently inspired by the culture of diversity, hard work, and determination throughout my 4-year journey! It has shaped me into who I am today, and I will always be grateful for every memory!

Shira Wolfe
MA International Performance Research, 2017
As an MA student in the MAIPR (Master of Arts in International Performance Research) program, I spent one semester in 2015 at the University of Warwick, before travelling on to Trinity College Dublin and the University of the Arts Belgrade. The MAIPR program and my education at Warwick allowed me to combine theory and practice in a way I had longed for, within high-quality academic institutions. During MAIPR, I experimented with using poetry in my performative practice and my dissertation. This journey eventually led me to remain in Belgrade after graduating, where I lived for many years, learning the language and working on artistic projects. Meanwhile, I started writing a book, which moves between poetry and prose, capturing scenes of life in the Balkans and my MAIPR dissertation project in Palestine. The book is now appearing with The New Menard Press, the UK imprint of Dutch publishing house HetMoet.
I am now announcing the publication of my poetry collection Jugoslovenska Kinoteka, appearing at the end of January 2025 with The New Menard Press.
