EUTOPIA SIF Fellow Belayneh Gedifew attended and presented a paper, titled "Epistemological Issues Reconsidered in Ethiopia's Health Equity Research Trend," at the Global Health Innovation and Quality Summit (June 25-27, 2025), organized by the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

Dr Matteo Leta has been awarded a four-year fellowship at  Link opens in a new windowUCD in the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.Link opens in a new window He will start his fellowship in September 2025 on his project ‘Staging Otherness: The Representation of “Gypsies”, Turks, and Moors in Italian Renaissance Comedies and their European Translations (c.1500-1650)’. We would like to congratulate Matteo on this amazing achievement.

Dr Emrah Atasoy’s article “Visions of the Future: Utopian and Dystopian Studies Worldwide and in TürkiyeLink opens in a new window” (Gelecek Tahayyülleri: Dünyada ve Türkiye'de Ütopya ve Distopya Çalışmaları) was published by the journal ViraVerita (21: 6-18) on the 31st of May 2025.

The article is part of the special issue “The possibilities of a different kind of world/life from Dreams to Nightmares: Utopias and Dystopias.”
