PiP26 Guest Invitation Letter
Posters in Parliament 2026 Guest Invitation Letter Template
Dear XXXX,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the tenth Posters in Parliament exhibition at the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House, House of Commons on Wednesday 25th February 2026 from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm.
Posters in Parliament displays the research projects of undergraduate students from more than 25 universities across the country. These students represent the full spectrum of UK universities and are the next generation of innovators and academics.
This event will be hosted by Alec Shelbrooke MP and a collaboration of other MPs, to be confirmed, on behalf the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) Executive Group and the University of Warwick, who are organising this year’s event. We very much hope you will be able to attend or send a representative on your behalf.
The Posters in Parliament exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate British undergraduate research, as well as to showcase the tremendous progress that the UK has made in this area.
The event is part of the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR), an open coalition of universities dedicated to encouraging a national culture of undergraduate research. BCUR grows every year, giving more undergraduate students the opportunity to experience real research at the cutting edge of their field. Many of them go on to publish their work in highly rated journals and then develop their research even further as postgraduate research students.
As [their position/reason for invitation], we would be delighted if you could show your support by visiting Posters in Parliament. If you are available to attend, please register online by 11th February 2026 at this online formLink opens in a new window. We will send you an email ticket by 18th February 2026. You will also find links to optional morning events – these are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
