Clinical Trials Unit

As we celebrate International Clinical Trials Day 2025, at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit we take pride in the clinical trials that we run, leading to clinical and scientific advances that transform the lives of patients across the United Kingdom and throughout the world. The theme for International Clinical Trials Day this year is “Rethinking Clinical Trials: Inclusivity in Practice”. At Warwick Clinical Trials Unit we are constantly innovating to ensure that our trials reflect the populations that they serve and are methodologically excellent, efficiently leading to scientifically accurate conclusions that can benefit everybody.

Research excellence

The Warwick Clinical Trials Unit (WCTU) has a strong track record in delivering excellent research. Established in 2005, we received full registration status from the UKCRC in 2007.

We care about patient centred outcomes and we want to find ways to improve them. Our trials and investigations help us to do that. We're not afraid to ask the difficult questions, by leading and supporting clinical trials that seek to find answers. We have a reputation for challenging long-established norms.
