Welcome to our Department of Physics at Warwick! We are an enthusiastic community of 1,000 staff and students, learning and using ideas from physics to explain the world around us, to explore fundamental principles and apply some of these in practical situations for societal benefit. Our Department welcomes students from many backgrounds as both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Our Physics Programmes

Undergraduate Study

Physics deals with fundamental questions about the Universe, and key technological and environmental issues of our time. We offer degrees in Physics, Maths and Physics, Physics with Astrophysics, and Physics with Business and Management, with 3 year BSc or 4 year integrated Masters options available.

Postgraduate Degrees

As a major research centre for Physics in the UK, we offer a broad range of research opportunities across the discipline. Our research teams work in areas including Astronomy, Astrophysics, Computational Physics, Condensed Matter, Fusion, Medical Physics, Particle Physics and Theory.
