Department of Statistics Welcome Week Events (29th September- 4th October)

There are MANY more events during welcome week that are run by the wider university.

This page gives a breakdown of when and where the key department events will be which contain important course information and should not be missed!

You can look up and familiarise yourself with the locations of these events on campus by searching for the respective room locations on the interactive campus map.

For Undergraduates:

10:45-11:45am Welcome to the Statistics Department (in MS.02)

This event will have a welcome address from several key members of the department:

  • Head of Department
  • Deputy Head of Department
  • Senior Tutor
  • Director of Taught Programmes
  • Director of Student Experience
  • Members of the Statistics Student Support Office

12:00pm onwards Course Briefing- Providing important information about your course

  • Mathematics and Statistics (MS.01 Lecture Theatre)
  • MORSE (MS.02 Lecture Theatre)

  • Data Science (MS.04 Lecture Theatre)
