I am a first-year Phd student at the Warwick Statistics Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) working under the joint supervision of Dr. Andi WangLink opens in a new window and Prof. Gareth RobertsLink opens in a new window. My research primarily focuses on computational statistics, with a current emphasis on the convergence rate of Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms.

Before starting at Warwick, I completed my BS-MS in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. My master's thesis, "Bayesian Inference for Markov Modulated Levy Process," was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ludger Overbeck at the University of Gieβen, Germany.

Apart from academics, I'm passionate about sports, particularly playing and watching cricket and badminton. I also enjoy playing the violin and, as a film enthusiast, count "Maqbool" among my all-time favourite movies.
