What do we mean by job quality?
Job quality is an umbrella term covering both the work that we do and the terms of employment under which we do it.
The Creating Healthy Jobs project will undertake new analysis to establish the relationship between job quality and physical and mental health.
It will use an existing set of measures developed by the CIPD and working group established jointly by the Carnegie Foundation and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). These measures have been adopted by the UK’s Office for National Statistics.
