About Business Engagement

We create the partnership between our University of Warwick community and IDG. We align our stakeholders' strategic needs with IDG's strategy and services, ensuring IDG has the right supporting plans, roadmaps, governance and suppliers in place.

Our team is the liaison point, internally updating our colleagues on the delivery of projects and products, while ensuring IDG's services are transparent, prioritised appropriately and meeting expectations. Externally, we work closely with our vendors to ensure we are strategically aligned and extracting the best value for the University.

Our team functions

Digital Business Partners

We are the partnership between our University of Warwick community and the Information & Digital Group (IDG).

We align our stakeholders' strategic needs with IDG's strategy and services, ensuring IDG has the right supporting plans and roadmaps in place.

Office of the CIO

We collaborate closely with the CITO and SLT to drive strategy, operational excellence, and functional performance for IDG.

The objective of the OCIO is to demonstrate the value of IDG through a consistent, transparent, and efficient manner.

Responsible for technology business management whilst overseeing the smooth operational running of IDG as a whole.

Strategic Vendor Management

We leverage maximum benefit for our colleagues by proactively engaging and managing our strategic IDG partners.

We also manage the renewal of some of the larger software contracts and purchasing.

Warwick Medical School (WMS) IT

We strive to provide effective, efficient, and high-quality digital services to meet Warwick Medical School requirements, supporting their strategic objectives.

We help our customers make best use of IDG services and act as an escalation point.
