Finalist Lidia Stan and second year student Kiran Vekaria, share their experience of presenting their research at the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) 2025.

Warwick Law School, the Department of Politics and International Studies and the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Law, hosted a vibrant and intellectually rich workshop on 28 March 2025, exploring “Law and Development Perspectives of Environmental Governance in Africa.” The hybrid event brought together leading academics, practitioners, and students for a day of critical reflection and dialogue on some of the most pressing legal and developmental issues facing the continent.

Warwick Law School and Nanjing University Law School bridged continents on March 12, 2025, through an interactive joint class focused on intellectual property and global innovation systems.

From Wednesday 31 July – Friday 2 August 2024, Warwick Law School hosted the 26th Annual Conference of the International Association for Critical Realism (IACR) 2024.

The Global South Dialogue on Economic Crime Network, in collaboration with the Warwick Law School, hosted a 3-day symposium Centre on campus last week.

Dr Maryna Utkina and Dr Aisel Omarova participated in a comprehensive leadership training program.

We were delighted to welcome participants to campus last week for a topical summer school on digital health apps and regulation, organised by the There Is No App For This! project team.

Dr Maryna Utkina, Associate Tutor at Warwick Law School and British Academy Fellow received one of 10 scholarships to participate in the Liverpool Summer School on the Law of the Council of Europe.

Dr. Aisel Omarova, BA Fellow at the University of Warwick, was invited as a panellist to the scientific symposium of the ALLEA “Crises and the Importance of Research: How Prepared Can We Be?” last month, hosted by UK member academies, the British Academy, the Learned Society of Wales, the Royal Society, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Dr. Maryna Utkina, BA Fellow at the University of Warwick Law School, became a part of the Ukrainian cohort and participated in a two-day British Academy-supported workshop titled “Development of academic skills in Great Britain and the international context”, which took place on the 24 and 25 May in Wigan.

Dr. Aisel Omarova, BA Fellow at the University of Warwick, was invited as a delegate to the conference "Ukraine’s Recovery: Rebuilding with Research", which took place earlier this week on the 15 May 2023 in London.
