Horizon Europe 2028 - 2034: twice bigger, simpler, faster and more impactful
As part of the next long-term EU budget 2028-2034, the Commission is proposing to double the budget of the research and innovation framework programme to €175 billion

Launch of annual lecture series on Academic Freedom
The Guild has launched an annual lecture series on academic freedom, marking International Academic Freedom Day in Brussels. The launch event of the series took place on 20 May 2025 and was co-organised with Université PSLLink opens in a new window and Institut CurieLink opens in a new window. The event brought together policymakers, university networks, and researchers to discuss the importance of scientific independence and international collaboration.
